Self-care is so important and something that we should all try to implement in our daily routines. It’s so easy to get caught up in the craziness of life and completely neglect ourselves. Unfortunately, our overall health can substantially suffer from this neglect.
Self-care doesn’t have to be expensive or time-consuming. It can be as simply as waking up ten minutes earlier than you usually would and making your morning coffee or tea and sitting in silence for a few minutes. It can also be taking a nice, brisk walk or dancing around you living room to your favorite jams.
The beauty of self-care is that you can decide what that is for yourself, but in case you have no idea where to start, I have listed a few things that are sure to make your self-care routine more fun and relaxing.
Who doesn’t love a nicely scented candle? With fall among us and summer coming to a close, you can find many fall-themed candles that offer great scents such as pumpkin, forest, cinnamon, and orange.
Bath Bombs not only smell great, but do wonders for your skin. They leave your skin feeling soft and silky, no matter your skin type. They are also all natural and can even be infused with essential oils that will add an extra layer of moisture to your skin. You will have a healthy glow even if you sit in the tub for only 20 minutes.
There are a plethora of face masks to choose from, but it doesn’t matter which one you choose it will do wonders for your face. Some face masks clean out your pours, some hydrate, and some give you an amazing and radiant glow. Slap one on while you’re soaking in the tub or doing your morning routine.
MY FAVORITE WAY TO RELAX
I throw in a bath bomb and light a candle. I turn off the lights and soak in the tub while watching one of my favorite shows. It feels so relaxing.
