While blogging can sometimes feel like a full-time job, there are apps you can utilize to minimize the amount of work you have to do as a blogger. These apps will save you so much time and stress, so that you time can be better utilized for other blogging matters. Here’s a list of the best apps for bloggers.
LIGHTROOM
Lightroom is a great app for many reasons, but the main one has to do with the ability to create your own presets within the app that can be applied to any of your pictures. You can also take pictures right from the app and edit them, as well. As a blogger, carrying a DLSR camera around all day can get pretty annoying. Sometimes, you want to just pull out your phone and snap a quick pick. If you happen to be someone who is on the go and doesn’t have their laptop at hand, this app will take care of your editing needs in less than five minutes.
Pinterest is THE app for bloggers because when utilized the correct way, it can bring an immense amount of traffic to your site. The great part about this app is that you can schedule your pins to post for different days, so you can create a lot of pins at once and have them post one after the other. This frees up a lot of time and it makes you look consistent on the platform.
EVERNOTE
Have you ever been out and about and you think of a random idea for a post? Well, the best part about having a notes app is that you can jot down the idea really quick before you forget it. While iPhones already have the notes app, this particular app has more features.
MAILCHIMP
Mailchimp is a great app for email newsletters. You just add the code given to you into your WordPress site and a small window will pop up whenever someone new enters your site. You can create personalized emails to your subscribers and even schedule them in advance. There is a free version, but if you upgrade, you have access to more features.
CANVA
Canva is an important app for bloggers as it can help you customize just about anything from media kits to Pinterest pins. You can even customize your blog pictures and give them an extra flare. Canva has so many features even for free users, but if you want to take your projects to the next level, I would recommend getting the upgraded service.
UNFOLD
Unfold is a great app for getting custom Instagram story templates. Some of those templates can also be used in your blog posts. The app is $4 monthly or $26.50 per year which is not bad at all when you see all the features they provide. It can turn any drab photo or video into a professional masterpiece.
LATER
The Later app does just what it says. It helps you schedule posts for later. Whether you are using the app for Instagram or other social media apps like Twitter, Later can help with that. You can set up your posts for weeks or even months in advance and forget about it. Now you don’t have to think about what to post next, because you have already scheduled your posts.
I’m always so confused about which apps are best for blogging. Thanks for sharing! This information is incredibly helpful.
