The New Year will be here before you know it and I have high hopes for this year. I am not big on making a long list of resolutions as I have stated in my New Year, New Me post from a few weeks ago, but I am into making a few. My resolutions are because of the work I put in this past year. I made last year a business year where I rebranded and revamped my blog.
I narrowed down my target audience and really thought about the direction I wanted my blog to go. I also made sure to take courses on topics that would help me to become a stronger blogger. This was an amazing year of business and I started to reap the fruits of my labor. Now, it’s time to expand and think bigger about the outcome of next year. These are my three biggest resolutions for the New Year that will help me do just that.
MARKET MY E-BOOK
Yes, I have created an e-book that helps new bloggers learn the basics of stepping foot in the blogger world. It has been a dream of mine for so long to create an e-book on this topic and I finally did it. I listed every single thing that I wished I knew when I first started my blogging journey. I hope that this e-book serves as a helping guide to you and that it helps you to avoid a lot of mistakes that bloggers tend to make.
START MY HEALTH JOURNEY
Now, I know this seems like a typical thing to say since so many people start their health journeys in the beginning of the New Year. I totally understand the side-eye. The reason why I was never really that successful with my weight-loss journey was because I was trying to juggle too much at one time. I was trying to turn my blog into a business while losing weight. Now some people are quite successful at this, but it didn’t work for me. I didn’t have a good grip on my blog and I didn’t realize how much time and effort would go into it at first. Now that I have established a momentum, I can devote more time to focusing on my health and getting to the shape I truly desire to be.
TRAVEL MORE
OMG! The pandemic made me realize that you can never take life for granted. Life is too short and it’s best you spend as much time as possible having new and exciting experiences. For me, this includes seeing more of the world. I want to be in nature and feel one with mother nature. I want to hike beautiful mountains and explore caves. I want to do all the things I feared doing for so long. A fear that I no longer wish to have. I want to bring out my adventurous side more and do things that bring me joy. I used to be such an adventurous kid and I feel like I lost that side of myself for so many years. Now, I’m ready to be my youthful self again. I have three trips planned for next year and I can’t wait to share those with you all soon.
What are your biggest resolutions for the New Year?
One of mine is to travel as well. I’ve only left Florida twice in my life and I want to explore other places
Oh yes, traveling and seeing the world is a must.
Love your goals! Especially, the travel one! I’m also looking forward to traveling more next year 🙂 can’t wait to hear where you are going in 2022
Thanks for reading. I can’t wait to share the news of my travel plans next year.
