My Very First Boxycharm

I like many other viewers have seen countless adds about Boxycharm. As I looked at more videos, I thought this was a great idea. For only $25 a month, I get to try five higher end beauty products a month. I just thought this was a great deal that I just shouldn’t pass up, so I went ahead and signed up.

I received my first box on Saturday and I am excited about all the products. The products were packaged neatly and nothing was damaged or destroyed.

The first item in the box was this Fairy Tales Storybook Cosmetics Palette that looks like a little book of stories. It is super cute and the colors are absolutely amazing. My favorite color is “Prince.” This palette retails for $35.

These are how the colors looked on my skin. I have been getting pretty bold with my eye shadows lately, so I am excited to play with all the shimmery and bold colors.

The next item I received is the Touch in Sol Glassy Ski Balm. This retails for $32 and it is absolutely amazing. My skin feels so moisturized after using this and I like the thick consistency of the balm. It also has a nice clean scent.

The next item I received was the Complexion Brush set from Alamar Cosmetics which retails for $36. I do have to say these are the softest brushes I have ever owned and they just glide across my skin.

The Evioskin Aurora Cleansing Wipes retail for $9 and I tried it Sunday night. One of these wipes removed all the makeup off my skin. It also didn’t leave my skin feeling incredibly dry.

These First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Exfoliating Pads retail for $17. I thought it was quite funny that I received these, because I was just recently looking for exfoliating wipes at Sephora a few days prior. I did settle on a different brand, but I am excited to use these because I use one of their facial serums on a daily basis and love the feel and texture of their products. Since I have combination skin, I cannot use harsh exfoliators as it will dry me out too much, so exfoliating wipes are literally my best friend because they exfoliate without being too abrasive.

The product I have to say I was the most excited about receiving was this $62 Iconic London Palette. The colors looked amazing against my skin. They are so shimmery and so my kind of palette. I just love the way golden colors look on brown skin and it just adds that much needed pop to any makeup look.

This whole box was worth $191 which is amazing and I only had to pay $25 a month to get it. I am excited to see what I receive in my future boxes because I feel like there is an element of surprise when receiving my boxycharms. I just felt like since $25 a month is not something I worry about spending every month, I might as well use it on things that I like. Give it a try if you haven’t.
